Positive Reinforcement Training What is it?

 Just don’t say “no!”

Here’s how it works.  We use treats and toys and lots of praise to motivate and reward our dogs while training.  Then, we will gradually “wean” them off the treats while still keeping the whole training process fun for the dog.   When dogs have a clear understanding of what we want from them, we can simply ask them to do something, rather than telling them "no" or to “stop” what they are doing.  See, isn’t that a lot better?   With a little patience and perseverance you can have a rewarding relationship with your happy, well-mannered dog.

There is no need for a stick when a carrot will do.
