We ask a lot from our best friends.  First, we expect them to understand English.  Secondly, we want them to ignore their natural instincts and do what pleases us instead.   Actually, they can do these things… but it’s a lot to ask.   We can make their learning experience much easier if we try to see some things from the dog’s perspective

Start things off the right way with your new dog, or make things better with your old dog!  

My obedience classes are held at the Humane Society of Utah and are usually limited to seven dogs so that I can give individual attention to every dog and handler.  It’s important to me that the dogs enjoy learning and that every handler gets the experience needed to be an effective trainer for their dog.

Classes offered include: 

-  Puppies 

-  Level One for Beginner Adult Dogs 

-  Level Two - Back to Basics

-  Level Three - Basic-Intermediate*

    * this class also prepares dogs for their "Canine Good Citizen" certification.  

 

-  In-home Private Training is also available.
